About the event
We have been reflecting on the need to continue to support PCs in all Radical Transformational Leadership programs in preparing to address racism and specific incidents of racism in real time with values aligned action. As a continuation of our learning journey together in racial equity, in response to expressed desires and needs from our PCs and as part of preparing for the upcoming RTL Impact program that will start in January, we are inviting you to a special series on this topic.
Have you ever felt like a deer in headlights when racism arises? Perhaps frozen from fear, shame, not knowing how to respond, or from the harm it has caused you or someone else in the group. Or perhaps you have responded in ways that did not have the intended impact. This happens in life, in the workplace and certainly within the learning space of RTL. What if instead of avoiding thinking about it or acting on it, having default reactions, or leaning on what you have done in the past, you could grow your toolbox of courageous, skillful and effective responses as part of a caring community of practitioners?
If this speaks to you, please join us for a monthly 4-part learning journey facilitated by experienced DEIJ and RTL practitioners. We will meet both together and in affinity spaces facilitated by and for BIPOC identified and white identified PCs to explore these spaces and learn new skills.
